Google Calendar now allows you to schedule tasks for a specific time

Google has added a new feature to Calendar that lets you create separate blocks of time for tasks. This update expands on the standard scheduler capabilities and allows users to schedule time for specific tasks without having to create "meetings with yourself."

When creating a task, you can add a description, set Do Not Disturb mode, and determine the visibility level. This gives Calendar an element of full-fledged task management, which will be useful for those who prefer to organize their work through a schedule.

The feature began rolling out to Rapid Release domains in early November. The general release will begin on December 1, after which the option will be available to all users: both Workspace customers and personal Google account holders.
